Contest Period: This
Contest Starts on 1st Oct 2003 and ends on 31st Dec 2003. All entries
received by midnight on 31st Dec 2003 are entitled for consideration to
win Prizes.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE: Answer all the questions, type your slogan to
complete and fill your personal details. In the event of a dispute,
internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of
the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account
holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an
internet access provider or on-line service provider, or the organization
that is responsible for assigning email addresses or the domain associated
with the submitted email address. All entries become the property of
Dhampure and will not be acknowledged or returned.
ELIGIBILITY: Contest is offered only in India to legal residents of
the India, who are, 18 years of age or older, except for employees of Dhampur
Sugar Mills, it's subsidiaries or affiliates,
advertising and promotion agencies, who may not enter. Void where
prohibited or restricted by law.
PRIZE WINNERS SELECTION: Prize winners will be selected based on
the cutest slogan submitted among all entries received along with
the maximum number of correct answers. Winners will be selected by Dhampur
Sugar Mills. Decision of DSM in deciding the winners is final. Winner will
be notified by mail id through which he/she participated in the contest.
If winner is not of the age of majority in the state of residence
("minor"), that prize will be awarded in the name of the parent
or legal guardian. Under no circumstances will cash be given in lieu of
the prize;
however if a prize is refused or prize notification
is returned or deemed undeliverable, an alternate winner will be selected.
The odds of winning depend on the number of valid entries received and
correctness of the entries.
CONDITIONS: Dhampur Sugar Mills Ltd. is not responsible for error, omission,
interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft
or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry
materials, or for technical, network, telephone, computer, hardware or
software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or
failure of Sponsor to receive entry information on account of technical
problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site or any
combination thereof. DSM Limited reserves the right, in its sole
discretion, to cancel contest in its entirety, if it becomes technically
corrupted or because of non-authorized human intervention.
CHANGES: We
reserve the right to add to or change/modify the terms of this Agreement
including but not limited to suspend / cancel, or discontinue any or all
channels, or service at any time without notice , make modifications and
alterations in any or all of the content, products and services contained
on the site without prior notice.. Such changes will be posted to this
page for your convenience to understand your responsibility as a user. You
will be deemed to have accepted such change/s if you continue to access
the Site subsequent to such changes.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A CONTESTANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO
DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF
THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH
AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, DSM LTD. RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE ANY SUCH
INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
Acceptance: By entering, participants
(a) Agree to these official
rules and the decisions of the DSM Limited and judges which shall be
final in all respects;
(b) Release DSM Limited, it's affiliates,
subsidiaries and group companies and advertising and promotion agencies
their respective directors, officers and employees from any and all
liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind caused by their
participation or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of
any prize; and
(c) Acknowledge that said parties have neither made nor are
in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or
guarantee, expressed or implied, in fact or in law, relative to the prize
including, but not limited to, its quality.
(d) Disputes if any will be
subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts at Delhi, India only.
(e) Taxes or any other statutory charges if any shall be borne by the
winner/participant.
